KHAIRPUR: Campaign

KHAIRPUR, Aug 22: The Khairpur district government on Wednesday decided to launch a two-week campaign starting from Sept 1 for persuading the parents to enrol their children in schools.

A meeting presided over by District Nazim Niaz Hussain Shah said that the campaign targeted to get 92,000 children enrolled in schools.

The nazim advised the Election Commission of Pakistan to relieve teachers of one teacher-schools of their voter enrolment responsibilities and urged the education department and Sindh Textbook Board to ensure the textbooks were supplied to schools without further delay.
