SUKKUR, March 13: At least 150 Gorgaje tribesmen held a protest demonstration in front of the DSP Office, Ubaro, against the police who arrested a man, Mir Hasan Gargage, on Feb 5.

Mir was kept in illegal confinement for several days at the Kambra police station and was later shifted to an unknown place.

The DSP, Siraj Ahmed Sehto, assured the tribesmen that the man would soon be found and released.

The villagers said that no FIR had been registered against Mir at any of the police stations of the area.
