NAWABSHAH, Aug 27: There was a complete shutter-down in Jam Sahib Town on Monday against the Auqaf Department for bulldozing the graveyard and instead constructing shops near Dargah of Jam Dattar. All shops and bazaars remained closed.

Later, a rally was taken out which after passing through different roads, terminated at the main bus stop.

Protesters Mohammad Rafiq Ahmed, President Shehri Ittehad Ghulam Mustafa Vistro, Mohammad Yousuf Dahiri, and Hafeez Mangi condemned the Auqaf Department for bulldozing graveyard and constructing shops.

They said bulldozing of graves was disrespectful and the matter had been reported to high-ups in the Department and to district administration but in vain. They threatened to widen their protest if shops constructed on graveyard were not bulldozed immediately.

PML-N: Vice President PML-N Sindh, Dr Ali Hyder Shah has said that Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif would return Pakistan before Eid. He was speaking at a gathering of party workers at Mohini Bazaar, here on Sunday.
