HYDERABAD, Aug 27: Child labour should be abolished in Sindh, Sindhi-medium schools should be opened in Karachi, more children’s programmes should be telecast on the PTV and Sindhi children should be given opportunities to participate in international games and fairs.

This was demanded in the resolutions adopted at a conference held in Qasimabad on Sunday on the sideline of the election of office-bearers of Sujag Bar Tehrik, children’s wing of the Awami Tehrik.

Speaking at the oath taking ceremony of the office-bearers, Awami Tehrik chief Rasool Bux Palijo said that Sindh’s education system had been destroyed under a planned conspiracy.
