MARDAN: Transporters’ strike

MARDAN, Aug 30: Transporters observed a strike against the kidnapping of a transporter’s son here on Thursday.

The strike ended when the DPO Akhtar Hayat Khan Gandapur assured that the boy would be recovered safely. Saddam Hussain, the son of transporter Rehmat Sher, was kidnapped for ransom on Monday.—Correspondent
