KPT names boxing squads

KARACHI, Sept 3: Karachi Port Trust (KPT) on Monday announced its teams for National Cadet and Junior Boxing Championships which commence in Lahore.

The cadet team has six boxers while eight boxers will take part in the junior championship.

Cadet squad: Rashid Fateh (46kg), Majid Moosa (48kg), Jansher (50kg), Sanaullah (52kg), Hasnain Ahmad (54kg), Adil Khan (57kg).

Junior squad: Abdul Waheed (48kg), Aurangzaib (51kg), Irfan (54kg), Taj Mohammad (57kg), Adnan Hassan (60kg), Arshad Hussain (64kg), Zahid Saleem (69kg), Maaz Khan (75kg).

Officials: Ali Akbar Shah (manager), Ghulam Hussain Patni (referee/judge), Abid Ali and Khan Mohammad (coaches).
