KHAIRPUR: Two kidnapped for ransom

KHAIRPUR, Sept 9: Two villagers were kidnapped for ransom in the jurisdiction of Abdul Rehman Unnar police station in the riverine area of Kingri late on Saturday night.

According to reports, four villagers Mushtaq Ujjan, Sarwar Bhutto, Imdad Ali and Naseem Ujjan, residents of different villages, were going some were in Sadar Ji Bhatiyoon area when some eight unidentified persons kidnapped them.

Later, the kidnappers freed Imdad Ali and Naseem Ujjan and asked them to bring the ransom money for the release other two kidnapped persons.

No case has so far been registered.

KILLED: A man, Dadan Maitlo, was gunned down in village Bakhshan in the jurisdiction of Ahmedpur police station taluka Kingri late Saturday evening.
