HYDERABAD, Sept 10: Adviser to Sindh chief minister on information technology Noman Saigal has said that IT ministry is launching Rs100 million automation project for Hyderabad Civil Hospital while Rs70 million has been earmarked for computerisation of 500 police stations of Sindh in the current fiscal year.

Talking to journalists at the hospital’s committee room here on Monday, the adviser said that automation project of Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) was being carried out at cost of Rs140 million while automation project of Hyderabad’s Civil Hospital, its Jamshoro branch and the eye hospital would cost Rs100 million.

“Everything including drugs’ availability, patients’ admission and doctors’ duties will be checked easily under this computerisation programme of hospital”, said the adviser.
