HYDERABAD, Sept 13: A six-member team of the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan visited the Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences to inspect six departments to evaluate their suitability for specialists’ training and available facilities like teachers and equipment etc.
The team, headed by CPSP chairman and registrar Dr Abdul Majid, inspected the anaesthesiology, cardiology, dentistry, ENT, neurosurgery and urology departments.
The purpose of the inspection was to evaluate whether these departments could be recognised for training of doctors specialising in relevant fields.
On their arrival at the university, the team members were received by vice-chancellor Professor Dr Noshad Ahmed Shaikh.
AFFILIATED COLLEGES: The university of Sindh decided to mention the names of affiliated degree colleges on pass and marks certificates of the candidates for the identification of the examination centre.
This was decided at a meeting of principals of all degree colleges affiliated with the University here on Wednes-day.—Bureau
