Published September 14, 2007

SIALKOT, Sept 13: The district education department is under pressure from members of national and provincial assemblies, federal and provincial ministers and local council representatives because all of them are trying to get their supporters recruited against 46 vacant posts of BPS-4.

According to official sources, the education department has received more than 750 applications against 46 vacant posts and the recruitment process is underway. All influential figures are issuing their supporters reference letters, which have increased pressure on recruiting authorities.

The sources said 32 master degree holders and 42 graduates had applied for the peon’s job at the department.
