Four POs arrested in Swabi

SWABI, Oct 21: The Chotta Lahore police have arrested four proclaimed offenders, wanted in a number of cases.

On a tip-off, a police party on Saturday raided the hideout of proclaimed offenders, and arrested all of them, including Gul Waheed and Mohammad Saeed, residents of Kunda; and Faizuddin and Fakhruddin, belonging to Zaida.

The police are interrogating them about their accomplices.

WINE SEIZED: The police arrested a man, belonging to Gujaranwala (Punjab), and seized nine bottles of wine on Saturday.

The police said they had received information that a bootlegger had arrived in Maneri Swabi from Punjab. In a raid, the man, identified as Nazir, son of Allahdita, was arrested with nine bottles of wine.
