SWABI, March 21: Work on Ghazi Barotha hydro project will be resumed in the second week of April under an agreement reached between Wapda and the Italian company about four weeks back, official sources said on Tuesday.
Before the start of the US-led coalition attacks on the Taliban and Al Qaeda network, the Ghazi Barotha contractors had stopped the work but after the rout of the Taliban differences surfaced between Wapda and the Italian firm over the resumption of construction. Four weeks back, they sorted out their differences and agreed to resume construction.
