SUKKUR, March 22: The chief engineer, Irrigation, Guddu Barrage, informed farmers that all canals of the Guddu Barrage would remain closed from April 1 to 30 for inspection and maintenance work.

During the above period no water will be provided to the Ghotki Feeder, the Begari Sindh Feeder, and the Desert Pat Feeder.

FREE EYE CAMPS: The Al-Shifa Trust Eye Hospital, Sukkur, is organizing two free eye camps.

The first will be held on April 2 at the Rural Health Centre, Khanpur Maher, while the second will be held on April 4 at the basic health unit, Dad Leghari.

TB: A seminar in connection with the World TB Day is being organized by the TB control authorities, Sukkur, in collaboration with the TB Association, Sukkur, at 10:30am on March 27 at the Health Technician School, Sukkur.

The seminar will be addressed by several chest specialists including Dr Riaz Ahmed Dahar, Dr Mazharuddin Junejo, Dr M. Rashid Khan, and Dr Iqbal Ahmed Pathan.
