KARACHI, Oct 26: The local tennis scene comes alive after a month’s layoff due to Ramazan when the 17th STA Talent Hunt Sindh ranking tennis championship begins at the CDGK Sports Complex, Kashmir Road, on Nov 3, says an announcement on Friday.

The events to be contested are men’s singles, ladies singles, juniors U-17 singles, boys U-15, U-13, U-11, U-9 singles, boys U-15 doubles and mixed doubles.

Last date for submission of entries to secretary STA is Nov 1.

Any player who will violate STA code of conduct will be penalized.

The STA has recently adopted reforms and strict code of conduct which among other things aimed to curb the increasing ratio of walkovers in a tournament.
