DHAKA, Nov 9: Bangladesh has postponed their under-19 cricket team’s tour of Pakistan, a cricket official said on Friday, amid growing political instability in the emergency-ruled country.

Bangladesh’s under-19 squad was scheduled to leave for Karachi on Saturday to play five one-dayers and a four-day match.

“The tour has been postponed after we were advised by our deputy high commissioner in Karachi,” a Bangladesh Cricket Board official said.

“We are discussing with the PCB to reschedule the tour,” he added.—AFP
