Inter-district hockey

LAHORE, Nov 19: Nankana, Bahawalnagar and Khanewal districts won their matches in Punjab Inter-district U-17 hockey championship on Monday. Nankana crushed Jhelum 3-0 after leading the first half 2-0. Mazhar, Mohammad Wasim and Balal Iftikhar scored one each. A solitary goal by Ali Abbas helped Bahawalnagar beat Lodhran 1-0.

Khanewal trounced Multan 4-1.

Pakpattan outclassed Bahawalpur 3-0 with Arslan Zafar, Shakeel and Waqar Ali sharing the scoring honours.

Bhakhar earned 2-0 win against Khanewal. Hammad Siddique and Farooq Azam slammed goals.
