Inter-collegiate tennis

KARACHI, Nov 26: DHA Degree College for Women won the Girls Inter-collegiate tennis championship recently. The winners beat PECHS college 2-0 in the final held at the Sir Syed Girls College courts.

The first set was won by Shereen Anjum of the PECHS by 6-4 but Uzma Zakaria bounced back for DHA Degree College to win the second 6-2. In the third set, Uzma dominated from beginning to the end, outclassing Shereen 6-0.

Later, the doubles contest was also won by DHA Degree College for Women.—Agencies
