HYDERABAD, Dec 1: The central president of the Pakistan Wapda Hydro Electric Central Labour Union Abdul Latif Nizamani said on Saturday that the federation was formulating recommendations for creating job opportunities and educating and training workers to give a boost to the country’s development.

Mr Nizamani said at a workshop on “Employment and Social Security” that the employers, employees and the government should take steps to promote technical education.

Comprehensive polices should be formulated to attain economic independence in agriculture sector and industrial development and the workers should be protected against the effects of deregulation and privatisation, he said.
