HYDERABAD, Dec 2: Caretaker Sindh Minister for

Auqaf, Zakat, Ushr and Religious and Minorities Affairs

Arshad Ahmed Memon visited the shrine of sufi saint Lal Shahbaz Qalandar in Sehwan on Sunday.

While inspecting development work at the shrine, he expressed dissatisfaction over the beautification work and directed the officials to improve it.

He directed the chief administrator, Auqaf, to ensure water supply at the shrine and cleanliness around it.

He said that encroachments around the shrine should be removed immediately and under a proper strategy with the cooperation of the district government officials. Mr Memon stressed the need for making proper security arrangements in the town.

Later, the minister visited the shrine of Syed Qasim Ali Shah in Arazi village and offered Fateha and laid a floral wreath on the shrine.

He also offered Fateha on the shrine of Syed Koral Shah.
