Robbers visit posh club

LAHORE, Dec 8: Unidentified people took away computer cable and accessories worth Rs200,000 from Royal Palm Country and Golf Club on Saturday. Waqas Raza, an employee of the club, told police that the thieves took away cable and other accessories from the club’s office.

Some robbers entered the branch office of the Punjab Social Security in Raza Block, Gulshan Iqbal, and fled after snatching Rs600,000 in cash.

Some robbers barged into the house of Usman in Scheme-II in Gujjarpura, collected cash, jewellery, cell phones and other valuables and escaped.

Seven gun-toting men stormed into a clinic in Kashmir Block of Iqbal Town and fled after collecting Rs40,000 in cash, four cell phones and jewellery from the doctor, paramedical staff and the visitors.

Two armed men entered the public call office of Azam in Chaudhry Park in Shafeeqabad and took away Rs40,000 in cash, two cell phones and valuables.

Three robbers entered the bakery of Adnan in Misri Shah and escaped after looting Rs20,000 in cash, a cell phone and other valuables.—Staff Reporter
