LARKANA, Dec 25: Chairman Sindh National Front (SNF) Mumtaz Ali Bhutto has asked the people not to be deceived by eye-catching slogans of Ms Benazir Bhutto who claimed herself to be the chain of federation.

In a statement here on Tuesday he said how she could be sincere to the people when she had got registered cases through her servants against the children of her brother for allegedly snatching her land and houses. Besides, she had also opted to accept the enemies of Bhutto family.

He alleged that she had kept people on false hopes of ‘Roti, kupra aur makan’, for the last five years. They had not only filled their stomach but also their cronies and opportunists at the cost of people’s rights, he said.

Hitting hard on Asif Zardari, he said, he (Zardari) before marriage with Ms Bhutto even did not have money to purchase fuel for his car and later kept horses in the prime minister house which were served with apples and milk almost daily. Calling them ‘self-centered’ he asked people not to expect anything good from them in future. Terming the speeches and promises of PPP leaders as hollow and false, Sardar Mumtaz Bhutto predicated that neither a government be formed nor would she become prime minister.

He said Sindhi people were uselessly dancing at the tunes of PPP, as they (people) would get nothing in return and added Ms Benazir Bhutto would escape from country and would not return.

The SNF had announced supporting PPP’s candidates Shaharyar Khan Mazari and Raja Ghaus Bakhsh Khan Bijarani contesting for NA-210 (Kashmor) and PS-17 (Kandhkot) respectively. SNF would also support Dr Mohammed Ibrahim and Abid Hussain Jatoi contesting for NA-202 (Shikarpur-I) and PS-12 (Shikarpur-II) respectively. In the above constituencies PPP had fielded Aftab Shahban Mirani, Agha Arslan Khan Pathan. It is interesting that in Kashmor SNF was supporting PPP’s nominees and in Shikarpur it was opposing them.
