MQM chief slams feudal lords

SHIKARPUR, Dec 26: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain has said that the feudal and tribal chieftains had maintained their domination over poor and middle class people and adopted negative political tactics to meet their nefarious designs.

In a telephonic address at Jahaz chowk here on Wednesday evening, he said the MQM was the only political party which served the people without any discrimination.

He appealed to the voters to elect MQM candidate Agha Sher Khan contesting from Shikarpur city.

SUPPORT: The district leaders of Jeay Sindh Mahaz, Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz and Sindh United Party have announced their support to Junaid Ahmed Soomro, an independent candidate for PS-11 (Shikarpur-III) at an Eid Millan party held here on Wednesday.

The followers of G.M. Syed and the Sindhi nationalists attended the party.

Speaking on the occasion, Junaid Soomro expressed his determination to fight for restoration of usurped rights of people of Sindh at the floor of Sindh Assembly.

He also pledged revival of sick industrial units in Shikarpur.

JSQM district president, Sami Bilali, JSM district president Abdul Haleem Mahar, Naseer Mangi and others also spoke on the occasion and extended their support to Soomro.
