84 flights cancelled

ISLAMABAD, Dec 28: Air traffic remained largely disrupted on Friday and 84 flights of PIA and other airlines were either cancelled or delayed.

Although most local and foreign carriers suffered because of the volatile situation in the wake of Benazir Bhutto’s assassination, PIA bore the brunt with 40 of its 44 flights cancelled.

PIA sources said the disruption was mainly caused by unavailability of flight crew.
