NAWABSHAH, Jan 1: Hundreds of people, including a large number of supporters of PPP thronged Zardari House on Tuesday and condoled the death of PPP chairperson Benazir Bhutto.

District nazim and sister of Senator Asif Ali Zardari Ms Faryal Talpur who returned to Nawabshah after attending the funeral and Soyem of BB at Naudero, received condolences from the workers, supporters and citizens.

Acting president of PPP Nawabshah, Ghulam Qadir Chandio, district secretary Imdad Dhamrah, Ahmed Ali Jalbani, Tariq Masood Arain, zila naib nazim Abdul Haq Jamali and others also received condolences. PPP workers, supporters and people from different walks of life, including lawyers, doctors, engineers and others prayed for the departed soul of Benazir Bhutto.

Earlier, Quran Khwani was also held at Zardari House for the departed soul.

Meanwhile, Hindu community also offered prayers for Benazir Bhutto, here on Monday night. Prayers organised by Hindu Panchayat Nawabshah were held at Guru Nanak temple situated at Hindu Mohalla Gharibabad.

Naresh Kumar, Raj Kapoor and Murlilal, president, general secretary and vice president respectively of the Hindu Panchayat, along with other members of the community offered prayers for Benazir Bhutto.
