HYDERABAD, Jan 3: District Coordination Officer Aftab Ahmed Khatri has constituted taluka-wise committees headed by DDO revenue for conducting survey of damage caused to private and public properties during recent violence and assigned committees to complete their reports within three days.

He was presiding over a meeting to review the progress in recovery of looted goods and assessment of losses of properties at his camp office on Thursday.

EDO Revenue Syed Barkat Ahmed Rizvi, DO (R) Syed Sajjad Haider and all the DDOs and Mukhtiarkars of the district attended the meeting.

The DCO said that the revenue officers have to play their due role not only to meet the administrative challenges but also to provide relief to the victims of violence. He said that priority should be given to the rehabilitation of displaced people.
