KARACHI, Jan 4: Three vessels carrying containers and general cargo are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Saturday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was modest where four ships, Mir Damad, Hanjin Port Adelaide, Harmony and Eric G. Gibson to unload and load containers and other commodities berthed on Friday.

Three vessels, Y. M. Moon, Cape Negro and Augusta departed on Friday while Lalazar, Harmony, Mir Damad, Bolan, Nafto Cement-11, Eric G. Gibnson, Oriental Protea and Hanjin Port Adelaide are due to sail out on Saturday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was maintained on the higher side where a total tonnage of 0.100 million tons, comprising 19, 672 tons of export cargo and 80,439 tons of import tonnage, was handled on Thursday.

The following ships are due on Saturday: Emirates Adam, Bunga Delima and Hansa Stavanger, with containers.
