SWABI, Jan 6: Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaaf provincial president Asad Qaisar said on Sunday that the time for the presenr regime to resign had come because it had failed on all fronts.

Talking to journalists after offering condolence to the family of slain Awami National Party leader Shahbaz Khan, he said that the federation was in danger and it was high time to work for stopping further polarisation of the country.

To come out successfully from the present crises a national government and an independent judiciary were the two main requirements. When these demands were met there would be no crisis in the country.

He said the flour crisis, power loadshedding, hike in prices of essential commodities and law and order breakdown had turned the situation bleak and nobody knew what should be done.

“The present scenario is highly dangerous and it is up to the leaders and people of the country to handle it. Outsiders would not come to create unity in our ranks. We must play our due role to foil those who want to weaken us,” he said.

The PTI leader said that all political parties and groups should shun their differences and work for healing the wounds of the nation and work jointly to dig out them from difficulties.

He paid rich tribute to the assassinated Pakistan People’s Party Chairperson Benazir Bhutto and said that he salutes to her family and their courage. “The PPP is really a patriotic party and after Benazir Bhutto’s assassination it proved that it want to work for strengthening the country and its people,” he said.

The sacrifices rendered by the Bhutto family for the people and the country are remarkable, he said.
