MOSCOW, Jan 16: Russia’s top oil firm Rosneft registered a surge in net income in the third quarter of 2007, results released on Wednesday showed, as the company boosted output using assets bought from bankrupt rival Yukos. Net income climbed 79.8pc year-on-year to $1.89bn while revenue rose 53.5pc to $13.74bn, the company said in a statement.—AFP
