KARACHI, Jan 17: A 30-year-old labourer stabbed his younger brother to death early on Thursday morning in Nazimabad.

Police said Meraj Khan, hailing from Buner, fled after fatally wounding Siraj Khan, 20.

The eldest brother of the victim and the suspect, Hamidullah Khan, lodged an FIR against his younger brother.

He reported to the police that his younger brothers were living in a shared accommodation (Dera) close to his residence in Nidhaal Colony.

He said at around 1am his maternal cousin came to his home and told him that his brother had been stabbed.

The complainant told the police that he reached the spot, where his wounded brother told him that he had been stabbed by their brother.

Hamidullah with his relatives took the fatally wounded man to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, but the victim died on the way.
