HYDERABAD: Degree exams begin today

HYDERABAD, Jan 21: The University of Sindh has finalized arrangement for conducting annual examinations 2007 for regular and external candidates at affiliated degree colleges from January 22.

An announcement made by Controller of Examinations, Dr Parvez Pathan on Monday said that the Part I Examinations of Regular students of B.A., B.Sc, B.Com, B.S.W and B.Sc Home Economics (Fresh and Failure) and of External B.A. (Pass) Part-I and M.A. Previous (Failure only) will begin from January 22.

Examinations of B.A. (Pass) Part-II and M.A. Final for External (Fresh and Failures) and Part II Examinations of BSC, B.Com, B.S.W, B.Sc Home Economics for Regular (Fresh and Failure) will start from Feb 1.

The University has set up 56 centres at affiliated degree colleges of 13 districts including Jamshoro, Dadu, Thatta, Hyderabad, Tando M. Khan, Badin, Mirpurkhas, Umerkot, Mithi, Sanghar, Tando Allahyar, Matyari, and Nawabshah.

A total 15,773 candidates will appear in Part-I and M.A. Previous Examinations, while 25,287 in Part-II and M.A. Final examinations.

The Examination Department has handed over the admit cards to affiliated colleges of those appearing in Part-I and M.A. previous examinations.-—PPI
