KHAIRPUR, Jan 21: Tension gripped Razal Narejo village near Gambat after murder of two cousins, Rasool Bux Narejo and Huzoor Bux Narejo.

Approximately ten gunmen had attacked Razal Narejo village on Saturday night and kidnapped two cousins from the Otaq (guest house). After covering some distance, the armed men killed both of them and fled.

The bodies were handed over to relatives after post-mortem from taluka hospital Gambat. Police raided different villages in katcha area and picked-up around 15 suspects for interrogation.

No case was registered till the filing of this report.

Brother of deceased Huzoor Bux Narejo, Shah Mohammad Narejo, told journalists that one Inayat Narejo was killed a couple of years ago on the pretext of Karo-Kari and suspected that relatives of Inayat Narejo might have killed his brother and cousin. He further said that they also had a dispute with another group of their community over a piece of land.

SHO Gambat police station said that the double murder was the result of an old dispute.
