CHITRAL: Wolves kill boy in Chitral

Published February 1, 2008

CHITRAL, Jan 31: A young boy was killed by wolves at Attoni village, sources said on Thursday.

The boy, barely 12-year-old, was nibbled into pieces by a herd of seven wolves while playing in the fields near his home with four other fellows. The traumatised children, while narrating the incident, said that when they saw the wolves, they ran towards a nearby house but the ill-fated boy lagged behind and got killed.

When the children cried, some of the villagers rushed to the spot with guns and sticks but the wild animals had left only shreds of the boy.
