KARACHI, Feb 4: Seven ships, carrying chemicals, coal and vehicles, are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Tuesday, KPT sources said on Monday.

Berthing activity at the wharves was maintained on the higher side where eight ships berthed.

They are: Asian Queen to load cement, silos; Jindal Kamla and Conti Germany, to unload and load containers; Vinaship Ocean to unload and load general cargo, Nordic Haune, oil-tanker, and Don Franc Bulie to unload DAP fertiliser berthed after the departure of over a dozen vessels.

The ships which departed included Helenic Rickmers, Augusta, Hansa Liberty, Oak Galaxy, Hyun Jin, Spica, Y M Inauguration, Bunga Delima, Emirates Gondwana, Orient Stride and Noor-i-Madina, while Oel Strength, Liberty Grace, Conti Germany and some others are due to sail out on Tuesday.

The following ships are due on Tuesday: Bengal Orchid, with chemicals; Hanjin Ninghm, Cap Colorado, Soon Fu, Oel Trust, APL Shenzhen, with containers; Kou Sirius, with coal and Winco Elise, with vehicles.

The following vessels are due on Tuesday: Conti Esperance, Hyundai Future and Tilppa, with containers.
