Inter-collegiate badminton

KARACHI, Feb 6: College of Emergent Technology (CET) sailed into the next round following a walkover against St. Joseph’s College in the Karachi Board Inter-collegiate girls’ badminton championship at the Karachi College for Women on Wednesday.

Teams of Bahria College Nazimabad and Government Riaz girls’ College were scratched after they failed to turn up for an earlier fixture. According to an announcement, the matches scheduled for Thursday have been deferred for the next day in view of the holiday announcement for schools and colleges.

Friday’s fixtures:

DHA College v Islamia Women College; Bahria College Karsaz v Gulshan College; Trinity Higher Secondary School v Government College Landhi/Korangi No 6.
