HARIPUR: Student commits suicide

HARIPUR, Feb 9: A student of Postgraduate College, Haripur, committed suicide in his hostel room here on Saturday.

The city police said that Muhammad Qasim, a student of 1st year committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling fan of his room.

The motive behind his suicide could not be known, however, his class fellows told the police that the deceased used to take sleeping pills and appeared to be mentally disturbed.
