FATULLAH (Bangladesh), Feb 19: Bangladesh have recalled veteran spinner Mohammad Rafique to a 14-man squad for the two-match Test series against South Africa starting on Friday.

“We think as an experienced senior player Rafique can still contribute for the team,” chief selector Rafiqul Alam said on Tuesday.

Rafique, 37, who was excluded from the team that toured New Zealand in January, has replaced Enamul Haque Jr in the squad for the first Test in Dhaka.

South Africa will also play three One-day Internationals in their month-long tour.
