DHAKA, Feb 20: Bangladesh’s military-backed emergency government said on Wednesday it hoped Pakistan’s parliamentary elections signalled “a new dawn of stability” for the country.
“We congratulate those who have won for their victory and also those who have lost for the spirit in which they have accepted the results,” Bangladesh’s Foreign Minister Iftekhar Ahmed Chowdhury said in a statement.—AFP
