NAWABSHAH, Feb 21: Police booked two PML-Q leaders and its workers for allegedly snatching cash and valuables from a PPP polling agent, on Wednesday.

PPP’s polling agent Nazeer Ahmed Unnar of Daulatpur Polling Station No163 had lodged an FIR at the police station under section 392 PPC, 506/2, 147, 148, 149 against an ex MPA Dr Bahadur Dahiri, PML-Q candidate for PS-28 Dr Ashiq Dahiri, former Taluka Nazim Doulatpur, and 70 others.

Nazeer Unnar in the FIR stated he and Mujeebur Rehman were fulfilling the duties of agents at Polling Station No163 when the said persons came, threatened them of dire consequences, snatched Rs50,000 cash, mobile phones and escaped. No arrest could be made till the filing of this report.

Meanwhile, the district and session judge granted interim bail to PML-Q leader Khan Mohammad Dahiri till February 28 in the murder case of a PPP worker, Rasheed Leghari.
