KARACHI, Feb 23: Nine ships carrying chemicals, containers and to load molasses and naphtha are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Sunday.

According to KPT sources five ships, Orient Stride, Tower Bridge, Harmony to unload and load containers, Lalazar to offload crude oil and Liquid Success to unload chemicals were berthed after the departure of four.

The ships, which departed included Swat, Bengal Orchid, Hanjin Chittagong and Calvin P.Titus, while Lagonda, Oel Shreyas, Meriella Bottiglieri, Tower Bridge, Surfing Jad and Lalazar are due to sail out on Sunday.

A total tonnage of 99,480 tons comprising 29,091 tons of export cargo including 7,596 tons cement and 70,389 tons of import tonnage was handled on Saturday.

The following ships are due on Sunday; Morning Glor-3,to load 50,000 tons of naphtha, Capetan Costis, to load 20,000 tons of molasses, Royal Imperial, to offload chemicals, Conti Germany, APL Tulip, As Mars, Wan Hai-301,with containers, Pulan Cebu, and Malakand, with general cargo.

The following are due on Monday: Lucky Arrow, to load 11,400 tons of cement and Breeze to load general cargo.
