SWABI, Feb 23: An FIR has been registered against a clerk who allegedly double stamped ballot papers polled in favour of the Awami National Party (ANP) candidate at the government high school Utla polling station on the elections day.

According to sources, Afzal Khan, a steno in the office of civil judge and returning officer for PF-36, Swabi-VI, has been arrested by police when the controversy about the re-stamping of ballot papers surfaced on Friday. The recounting started on Wednesday and continued till late Saturday.
