KARACHI, Feb 27: Eight ships carrying containers, dump trucks and to load ethanol are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Thursday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where five ships, Cap Colorado, APL Sokhna, Creek to unload and load containers, Breeze to unload and load general cargo and Royal Queen to offload chemicals were berthed after the departure of seven.

Seven ships, Wan Hai-301, Mol Ability, Kapitan Byankin, China Star, Lisa-J, Manucla Bottglieri and Pulau Ceba, departed on Wednesday, while Spica, Cap Colorado, APL Sokhan, Delta Ranger, Creek, Breeze, Noor-i-Madina, and Morning Glory-3 are due to sail out on Thursday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves active where a total tonnage of 64,784 tons comprising 35,627 tons of export cargo including 6,903 tons of cement and 29,157 tons of import tonnage was handled on Wednesday.

The following ships are due on Thursday: Saja-A with mogas, Johar with crude oil, Jo Birk and oriental Orchid to load ethanol, Hangin Qingdao, Ninth Ocean with containers, Nord Voyager with coal and Winco Uno with 14 dump trucks.
