HYDERABAD: Research topics

HYDERABAD, Feb 29: A meeting of the Advanced Studies and Research Board of the University of Sindh discussed research proposals recommended by various boards of faculties of the university on Friday.

The meeting reviewed topics submitted by scholars for their research work for MPhil and PhD degrees and approved them with minor changes.

The meeting allowed scholars for conversion of their registration from MPhil to PhD in different disciplines.

It also approved to award PhD degrees to two research scholars Abdul Jabbar Pirzada in Botany and Aijaz Ali in Sociology.

It accorded approval to award degrees of MPhil to research scholars Mateeur Rehman in Computer Science, Asghar Ali Majidano in Chemistry and Abdullah Mallah in Sindhi. It while approving research topics, appointed senior scholars to supervise the work of 19 research scholars for MPhil.—Bureau
