KHAR, March 1: A security man and a civilian were killed and 24 other people were injured when a suicide bomber rammed his explosive-laden car into a Bajaur Levies’ vehicle near Jar village, some 10km from here, on Saturday.

The political administration said the Levies’ vehicle had started routine patrolling in the morning when the suicide bomber smashed his white Suzuki into it from the opposite lane.

Besides a Levies’ man, one civilian Shah Wali Khan died and 24 people, including nine Levies’ personnel, were injured.

Official sources said the authorities had found the head and some other body parts of the suspected attacker from the site of the incident and had started investigation. Assistant Political Agent Khar Mohammad Iqbal said it was a suicide bombing.
