SUKKUR, March 2: Supreme Court Bar Association vice-president Imdad Ali Awan said on Sunday that SCBA president Chaudhry Aitzaz Ahsan would address the Sukkur circuit bench of the Sindh High Court and district bar association on Monday and visit Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto on Tuesday to pay respects to the slain PPP chairperson.

Talking to Dawn on telephone, Mr Awan, who is also president of the Sukkur chapter of the Sindh High Court Bar Association, said that Mr Aitzaz would land in Sukkur on Monday evening, where he would be accorded warm welcome by the office-bearers and members of SCBA and DBAs, members of civil society and people from all walks of life.

He would later be escorted in a procession to a hotel, where he would attend a dinner and then address the SCBA and DBAs. He said that Mr Aitzaz would address a press conference on his return from Garhi Khuda Bux in the afternoon before leaving for Karachi in the evening.
