MIRPURKHAS, March 3: The Satellite Town police arrested an alleged member of Rehman Dacoit gang and his foreigner accomplice after an encounter late on Sunday night. Two people also sustained injuries while extending help to police.

Reports said Saeed alias Laloo Makrani, a member of Rehman Dacoit group and his Iranian accomplice looted cash and cell phones from two persons in Adam Town and escaped toward Mehmoodabad. Two people Zubair and Zohaib Unnar intercepted them on which they fought with sticks.

In the meanwhile, the Satellite Town police also reached there and with the help of the men arrested Saeed alias Laloo Makrani and his Iranian accomplice Javed Baloch. During the fight Zubair, Zohaib Unnar and the accused Saeed Makrani sustained injuries and were taken by police to the Civil Hospital.

The SHO Satellite Town Nazar Mohammad Panhwar claimed Saeed Makrani was a member of Rehman dacoit group and wanted by Town and Satellite Town police in 16 cases. He said accused Javed Baloch was an Iranian national and accomplice of the Saeed Makrani. He said police were interrogating them.
