QUETTA, March 7: The president of the Pakistan Muslim League-Q, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, has said independence of the judiciary and reinstatement of deposed judges are two different issues.

Talking to newsmen here on Friday, he said: “Reinstatement of deposed judges is a constitutional matter that needs a constitutional solution.”

He said one should keep in mind the position of the sitting judges. He said that issues should be resolved with wisdom, and not with emotions.

Replying to a question about the PML-Q’s chances of forming a government in Balochistan, he said the situation was in favour of the PML-Q.

“The parliamentary leader of the PML-Q will be designated in two days,” he said.
