KARACHI, March 18: Four ships carrying container, tallow and to load clinkers are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Wednesday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was maintained on the higher side where eight ships, Red Sea Spirit to load cement, Pilion to unload coal, Mol Ability, Kapitan Byankin and Cap Colorado to unload and load containers, Atlantic Express to offload general cargo, Cendana to offload rock phosphate, Jawahar Lal Nehru and Emerald Park, oil tankers, were berthed.Five ships, Cosco Lian Yun Gang, Hanjin Ningbo, Eastmed Carrier, Alam Senag and Carla departed on Tuesday, while Pacific Tourmaline, Mol Ability, Luck Fortune, Jawahar Lal Nehru, Cap Colorado, Pilion, Emerald Park and Kosmos are due to sail out on Wednesday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was on the higher side at 0.130m tons comprising 41,321 tons of export and 88,121 tons of import tonnage.

The following ships are due on Wednesday: Alina to load 25,000 tons of clinkers, Lalazar with crude oil, Chemstar Duke with 12,000 tons of tallow and Hyundai Stride with containers.
