HYDERABAD, March 18: District Nazim Kanwar Naveed Jamil here on Monday night laid the foundation stone of Ghangra Mori bypass which would be completed in six months as per schedule at a cost of Rs900 million.

Speaking on the occasion he said that work on eight flyovers, one underpass, and five bridges was in progress at a hectic pace.

He said all these projects will be completed within a year.

Nazim city taluka, Javed Jabbar; naib taluka nazim Latif, Shujauddin Shaikh, Hyderabad Development Package Project Director Syed Sarfaraz Ali Shah, officers of the district government and a large number of people of the area attended the inaugural ceremony.

Mr Kanwar Naveed said that the district government was striving hard to convert the historical city of Hyderabad into an ultra modern city by providing modern facilities to its citizens.

He pointed out that in view of the ever increasing traffic problems there was a dire need of constructing alternative routes to save people from inconvenience.
