KARACHI, March 24: Eight ships carrying containers and RBD palm oil and to load naphtha are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Tuesday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was on the higher side where over a dozen vessels were berthed during the last two days, notable among them being Valbella, Caribbean Carrier, to load cement, Strange Attractor-1, to load rice, Sinar Hintan, Hyderabad Fesco Marina, to unload and load general cargo, Jitra Bhum, Ever Give, Filippa and Bela-1,to unload and load containers.

Sailing was also active as 18 vessels including Y.M. Inventive, Westes Star, Pac Alitila, Kota Gunawan, A. Dragon, Wan Hai-303, Johar, Industrial Bridge, Alima, Da Tina, Omega King, St. Irene, Orient Stride, and Sima Sahba, while Chemroad Vega, Chemstar Duke, Maritime Valour, Eser Kaptanogfu, Eve Given, Conti Express, Fesco Marina, Csav Lonqumay and Alina are due to sail out on Tuesday. A total tonnage of 0,281 tons comprising 91,279 tons of export cargo including 9,449 tons of cement 1,211 tons of rice and 6,700 tons of clinkers and 0.189 tons of import tonnage was handled during the last two days.

The following ships are due on Tuesday: Breeze, with 3,500 tons of RBD palm oil, Champion Pleasure, to load naphtha, Kapitan Byankin, Lucky Man, APL Sokhan, Soon Fu, and Oel Spirit, with containers and Jbu Orient, with coal.
