Tennis players off to Chandigarh

KARACHI, March 28: Seven tennis prodigies including a girl left Lahore by road for Indian Punjab on Friday to attend a three-week training course at the Chandigarh Lawn Tennis Association Academy.

The entire cost of the trip has been borne by the players themselves.

The players are: Khurram Nazeer, Syed Abbas Raza, Syed Zuhair Raza, Waqas Malik, Gohar Riaz, Salman Ikram and Shehla Rehan. Officials: Rehan Qureshi and Nazeer Ahmed.
